Gooseflesh is part of swimming in natural waters, especially at this time of the year. And seeing it on pictures or in movies always gives me a thrill almost as intense as being there myself. With this image, I hope to convey some of this feeling to the viewer.
Challenge:
To go back and forth between the camera, my modeling spot and my swimming spot until I had the desired outcome, while trying to keep my balance on a steep, gravelly underwater slope with increasingly numb feet. The struggle is real!
Sound:
The synaesthetic melody of insects dancing around flowering trees with the sun setting in the background.
Lesson:
A newfound favorite spot where you can actually swim.
